Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X. 2 is an arcade-style flight action game developed by Ubisoft Romania and published by Ubisoft. The game is the sequel to Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X,
released in 2009. The game was announced in May 2010 and was scheduled
to be released on September 3 in UK and September 7 in Europe. However,
Ubisoft delayed the release date for the PC, PS3 and Wii, while the Xbox
360 was pushed back to its new September 3, 2010 release date. The PS3
version was released one week later on September 10. The PC and Wii
versions of the game were released on November 12.After the events of the first game, the H.A.W.X squadron is sent to
Middle East, where a high level of violence is taking place, and the
appearance of various insurgents leaders in various hotspots is becoming
common. The team also has to investigate the mysterious disappearance
of Russian nuclear weapons.
The player can control three groups at different points in the game:
one American (Alex Hunter), one British (Colin Munro) and one Russian
(Dimitri Sokov), each with its own pilots and supporting characters. There will also be references to other characters in the Tom Clancy universe. The game begins with Colonel David Crenshaw piloting a routine patrol
mission in the Middle East. After stopping an insurgent attack, a
volley of cruise missiles is fired at the Prince Faisal Air Force Base
where Crenshaw was stationed. After one of the missiles disables
Crenshaw's aircraft, resulting Crenshaw being in enemy captivity and the
deaths of his comrades from the previous series. A joint strike force,
coordinated by Lieutenant Colonel Simms and composed of the U.S. Navy,
U.S. Air Force, and a Ghost Recon squad executes an operation to rescue
Crenshaw. They are supported by Major Rebecca Walters, who pilots an
AC-130 gunship during the rescue. In Scotland, Royal Navy Pilot Colin
Munro encounters an unidentified passenger aircraft that explodes from
an on-board bomb when undergoing training exercise. In Russia, an air
force squadron led by Colonel Denisov and Captain Dimitri Sokov engages
separatist aircraft but is ordered to retreat from the region after
numerous Russian military installations have been attacked.

Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X is a 2009 arcade flight video game developed by Ubisoft Romania and published by Ubisoft for Microsoft Windows, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, and by Gameloft for BlackBerry PlayBook, iOS, Palm Pre, Android and Symbian. It was released for Xbox and PlayStation in North America on March 3, 2009, for Windows on March 17, for iOS on December 9, for BlackBerry on January 8, 2010, for Palm Pre on April 2 for Android on September 13,and for Symbian on January 16, 2011. A Wii version was announced, but was ultimately canceled. In September 2010, a sequel titled Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X 2 was released for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The Microsoft Windows and Wii versions were released in November 2010.The story of the game takes place during the time of Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2. H.A.W.X is set in the near future where private military companies have essentially replaced government-run military in many countries. The player is placed in the shoes of David Crenshaw — an elite ex-United States Air Force
pilot who was recruited by one of these corporations, fighting whomever
and whenever he is told to. Crenshaw later returns to the Air Force
together with his team, trying to prevent the PMC initiating a full
scale terrorist attack on the United States.
The basic gameplay mechanics of H.A.W.X are similar to those of other console-based flight simulators, such as Ace Combat.
Players take on enemies with over fifty aircraft available to them.
Each mission is set amidst real world locations in environments created
with commercial satellite data. A cockpit,
first-person, and third-person view are selectable, with third-person
view giving the player an external view of both their plane and the
target.
The game features an "Enhanced Reality System" (ERS). The ERS includes radars, incoming missile detection, an anti-crash system,
damage control system, tactical map, information relay, aircraft
interception trajectories and weapons trajectory control. The ERS also
allows players to issue orders to their squadron and other units.
When fully activated, the ERS provides a great deal of assistance to
the player, but the system features can be turned off selectively to
make the game more difficult and give the player more maneuverability. The Ace Edge flight stick and throttle control, designed for the limited edition Ace Combat 6 package, is fully compatible with the game on both Microsoft Windows and Xbox 360.
Far Cry 3 is an open world first-person shooter video game developed mainly by Ubisoft Montreal in conjunction with Ubisoft Massive, Ubisoft Red Storm, Ubisoft Shanghai, published by Ubisoft for Microsoft Windows, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The game was released on November 29, 2012 in Australia, November 30 in Europe, and December 4 in North America. A stand-alone expansion titled Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon was released on April 30, 2013.Far Cry 3 is set on a tropical island between the Indian and Pacific Oceans. After a vacation goes awry, protagonist Jason Brody must save his friends, who have been kidnapped by pirates and escape from the island and its unhinged inhabitants.Far Cry 3 is a first-person shooter, which also features role-playing game
elements including experience points, skill trees, and a crafting
system. The player has the ability to take cover behind objects to break
enemies' lines of sight and to peek around and over cover and
blindfire. The player has the ability to perform silent takedowns by
performing melee attacks from above, below, or close behind. The game's
narrative director, Jason Vandenberghe, said that the story mode map is
around ten times larger than the game's previous installments. Players
are given the ability to survey and plan out their attacks with stealth
takedown combinations and tag enemies with the camera in order to track
their movement once they break the player's line of sight.Equipment is controlled by a simple system. As missions are
completed, new items are unlocked to be purchased or crafted by Jason,
using the pelts of various animals found around the island. When
scramblers on radio towers are removed, areas of the map are opened and
weapons in the shop are made free. As outposts of Vaas' pirate group are
attacked and retaken, the vicinity around the outpost becomes safer, it
unlocks new side quests for that area.
Skills are collected by gaining experience from completing missions
and killing enemies, and are unlocked in three skill trees, which
correspond to the Spider, the Heron, and the Shark. Each skill tree
upgrades different aspects of Jason's abilities, with the Spider
upgrading his stealth takedowns and hunting skills, Shark for assault
takedowns and health, with the Heron upgrading his long-range takedowns
and mobility. As skills are collected, the tattoo on Jason's forearm grows which is made up of several different tribal designs resembling the three animal skill trees. The game also includes a variety of side-quests. One such side-quest
involves the player hunting the many different wildlife species on the
island for upgrading purposes. There are some rare hunts that the player
must undertake to reach the highest level hunt upgrades.

Far Cry 2 is an open world first-person shooter developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft. It was released on October 21, 2008 in North America,October 23, 2008 in Australia and October 24, 2008 in Europe. It was made available on Steam on October 22, 2008. Crytek, the developers of the original game, were not involved in the development of Far Cry 2. Its successor Far Cry 3, released first on November 29, 2012 in Australia, is the third and latest installment of the main Far Cry franchise for Windows.Ubisoft has marketed Far Cry 2 as the true sequel to Far Cry,
however the sequel has very few noticeable similarities to the original
game. Instead, it features completely new characters and setting, as
well as a new style of gameplay that allows the player greater freedom
to explore different African landscapes such as deserts, jungles, and
savannas. The game takes place in a modern-day Central African
nation in a state of anarchy and civil war. The player takes control of
a mercenary on a lengthy journey to locate and assassinate "The
Jackal," a notorious gun runner. As of January 23, 2009, the game has sold 2.9 million copies.
Far Cry 2 is a sequel to the original Far Cry. The game features an open-ended
experience. Players are able to ally with one or multiple factions, and
to progress through the game world and missions as they see fit,
resulting in a nonlinear style of gameplay commonly referred to as sandbox mode that allows the story to progress at their speed and in the order they choose. Players can use a range of vehicles, including cars, trucks, boats and hang gliders, to travel within the 50 km2
(19 sq mi) gameplay area. The playing styles range from head-on
assaults to stealthy infiltrations and assassinations. The game takes
place in a sprawling African landscape, with terrain ranging from desert to savannah to jungle.Various factions and vehicles are featured; enemies include human mercenaries, but sci-fi creatures such as the Trigens from Far Cry are not featured.Furthermore, the player's feral abilities introduced in Far Cry Instincts and its expansions do not return in Far Cry 2.
There is also a dynamic weather system that has a day-night cycle and
different weather conditions such as storms and strong winds. The time
of day also affects the behavior of AI, in terms of enemy alertness and
aggressiveness; for example, an enemy might have a slightly heightened
awareness at night, but be unable to see the player in hiding, while
during the hot part of the day the enemies might be sitting in the shade
in groups but easily spot the player from a distance.
The health bar represents the health of the protagonist that is
divided into five segments, each of which automatically refills if it is
not depleted and the player finds cover for a few seconds. Players
carry a limited supply of syrettes
which can be used at any time to fully replenish the health bar, and
are obtainable from first aid boxes located throughout the game world,
specifically at guard posts. When nearing death (only one health bar
remaining), the character must perform first aid on himself, for example removing bullets with pliers, or snapping twisted or broken fingers into position.
Far Cry is a first-person shooter video game developed by Crytek and published by Ubisoft on March 23, 2004, for Microsoft Windows. Far Cry sold 730,000 units within four months of release. It received critical acclaim upon release. The original game has since spawned a series of sequels and spin-off games.
The game's story follows a former US Army Special Forces operative Jack Carver, who is stranded on a mysterious archipelago.
He is searching for a female journalist he was escorting after she went
missing when their boat was destroyed by mercenaries. The game includes
thematic elements relating to the dangers of weaponizing genetic engineering and the genocide of local islanders as can be seen by the deformed creatures created by a mad scientist named Krieger. The terrain in Far Cry varies greatly. Set on a South Pacific archipelago, the landscape includes beaches, dense rain forests, towering canyons, mines, swamps,
and even volcanic forests. Many of the interiors range from simple
beach huts and army camps to elaborate complexes, an underground temple,
and ultra-modern research labs. Several of these mazes use the remains
of Japanese WWII-era fortifications and bunkers.
Jack Carver
has left his mysterious and bitter past behind him and dropped out of
society to run a boat-charter business in the South Pacific. He is hired
by Val Cortez to take her secretly to an uncharted island in Micronesia. After Val takes off on her own with a jet-ski,
Jack's boat is blown apart by a rocket. With the help of a man named
Doyle, Jack travels across the various islands, battling mercenaries in
search for Val. Through encounters with the Trigens (genetically altered
beasts) and information from Doyle, Jack soon discovers that the island
is part of an experiment involving genetic modification, funded by the
genetic company Krieger Corp. and led by its CEO, Dr Krieger.

Dead Space 3 is a third-person shooter video game developed by Visceral Games and published by Electronic Arts. Announced at E3 2012 on June 4, 2012 and released internationally in February 2013,it is the sequel to Dead Space 2 and the third main entry in the Dead Space series.Primarily set on the frozen planet of Tau Volantis, the game follows protagonists Isaac Clarke and John Carver as they attempt to end the Necromorph threat once and for all. Dead Space 3 puts returning protagonist Isaac Clarke and new
co-op character Sgt. John Carver against the Necromorphs, human corpses
reanimated by the signal of an alien artifact known as the Marker. The
Resource Integration Gear (RIG) suit returns, using holographic displays projected from the players' suit and weapons to display health and ammo
count, respectively. In vacuum areas, a timer will appear on the
player's right shoulder, indicating how much oxygen that character has left before they suffocate.
Isaac and Carver can now roll and take cover to avoid attacks. This
new ability was described by a Visceral Games developer as essential, as
it "felt dumb/terrible not to have it" and that they have been "making
Isaac more responsive", as they "want the horror to come from the
terrible things that happen in the game; not from the horror that
something is moving slowly towards you and you can't shoot it because
the game controls like a piece of crap. The cover system is also described as "organic" in nature; for example,
the player does not need to "walk up to certain tagged things and press
the cover button; Clarke or Carver just does the action that is
appropriate for the given situation."
Aside from the returning Necromorphs, Dead Space 3 features a
large cast of new enemies. One example is the Waster, whose attacks
change depending on how it is dismembered; while another is the Nexus,
an insect-like giant that can crush or swallow people whole.Other obstacles in Dead Space 3 include a new human enemy, Unitologist soldiers; and environmental hazards like falling machinery and a giant mining drill.
The Bench weapon upgrade system from Dead Space and Dead Space 2
has been redesigned as a new upgrading system called the "Weapon
Bench". Here, players are able to construct new weapons from parts
gathered throughout the game. The bench provides two main frames to
start with—a light one-hand frame and a heavy two-hand frame—and players
can build new weapons and put two weapons together (for example, a
plasma cutter and a flamethrower). Examples of weapon functions include
an electric rivet gun and an buzzsaw launcher. If a player does not want to build a weapon from scratch, they can choose from ready-made blueprints, including classic Dead Space and Dead Space 2 weapons. Built weapons can also be shared in co-op mode.
